How to wash your car the right way
The two-bucket method — protects your paint from the swirls a single bucket causes.

Two buckets — one with soapy water, one with clean rinse water. Rinse your mitt in the clean bucket between panels so you're never dragging grit back onto the paint.

Out of direct sun — never wash a hot panel. It dries too fast and leaves water spots and streaks.

Top to bottom, wheels last — wheels are the dirtiest part. Do them last so you don't spread brake dust across clean paint.

Microfibre, not sponges — blot and dry with a clean microfibre towel to avoid swirl marks.
